Welding & Fabrication Apprenticeship Training
For the Employer
Is your apprentice receiving the training and direction they need to succeed in your organisation?
Training at The CEATA Academy in Nottingham will equip them with skills that your business demands, as well as meeting the government guidelines.
We are an EAL Ltd training centre that offers an accredited, intermediate training programme in welding, fabrication and metalwork for your apprentices.
If you’re looking to train a young person who is currently employed by your company, you may be able to access government sponsored places at The CEATA Training Academy for apprentices aged:
- 16 - 18 years
- 19 + years
The Intermediate Apprenticeship Training Programme
The training programme allows your apprentice to achieve the following qualifications:
- NVQ Level 2 Diploma in Performing Engineering Operations
- Level 2 Diploma in Engineering Technology
- Functional skills & ERR
Your apprentice will attend The Training Academy on a day release basis over a period of 60 weeks.
During this time they will receive training, assessment and examination working towards their Level 2 Diploma in Engineering, Functional Skills and Employment Rights & Responsibilities (ERR).
We Offer More than Your Local College
The CEATA Training Academy is not a college and consequently we work the same business weeks in the year that you do.
Your apprentice will be able to utilise our state of the art facilities while working in a real engineering factory hosted at the Canal Engineering manufacturing facility in Nottingham, NG7.
Please note:
Although CEATA is located at the Canal Engineering manufacturing site, Canal Engineering is a separate operation and has no intention of prising your employees for their own benefit. An apprentice protection agreement can be signed by both parties to put your mind at ease throughout the entire programme.
