Qualification: Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Fabrication & Welding
Stephen came to CEATA through the government sponsorship scheme to better his skills and become an accredited welder.
Entering the 6 week course knowing very little about welding and fabrication, Stephen was apprehensive but his motivation to learn shone through.
During the course the mathematical learning needed to understand welding and the techniques that come with it made times to be challenging but during one to one training sessions, Stephen’s understanding grew rapidly, finding every step of the course very valuable.
Now with a very high level of confidence, Stephen is able to perform the correct techniques and holds a bank of knowledge needed for his next steps.
Having enjoyed the course, Stephen is eager to start a new career in fabrication and welding and to prove he can be an asset to a respectable engineering company.
